    The Wolf and the Kid

One day, a little goat was grazing by the river and got separated from the shepherd and his flock. Suddenly, a wolf spotted the kid. The wolf jumped to catch and devour the kid. The kid pleaded, “Please wait a little. My stomach is full of grass right now. If you wait a bit, the food will digest, and my meat will taste better.” The wolf said, “Alright, that sounds good.” He sat down. After a while, the kid said, “Sir! If you give me a chance to kick around a bit, the grass in my stomach will digest faster.” The wolf agreed. During this time, the kid came up with another idea. He said, “If you pull and release the bell around my neck so that it makes a loud sound, I can kick better, and the food will digest faster.” The wolf agreed, and the bell rang loudly. The shepherd heard the bell and sent his dog to bring back the lost kid. The dog came barking, and the wolf ran away, and the kid was saved

Moral: Cleverness and quick thinking can save you from danger.
